Mummy G! Honey’s baby revelation has dropped our jaws

A hit record isn't the thing she wants most...

| Updated:

Honey G is the most recent act to be eliminated from The X Factor.

Don’t panic! Do you still need that daily dose of North Weezy?

Well, you could be in luck as she’s revealed she is looking for love!

Honey, whose real name is Anna Georgette Gilford, became the most tweeted about person since Donald Trump, so we don’t think she’ll have a problem finding The One.

Appearing on Lorraine, she was asked if there is a Mr Honey G and replied: “No I’m single.

“Yeah I’m looking for love, I really want to have kids soon.

“I really want to have a long term partner before I decide to have kids. Hopefully marriage one day.”

Now that is a wedding we’d LOVE to attend!

Many viewers were convinced that the rapper’s persona was all an act, but Honey shot those rumours down faster than you can say Honey G.

She said: “Basically I’ve come from a musical background, my mum’s a pianist, I’ve got a degree in music production and composition.

“I’ve been involved with BBC Radio One extra. I’ve been into rap the whole of my life. I’ve grown up with instruments.

“Since I was very young, I grew up singing to blues and R&B. Everyone would be listening to Backstreet Boys and I’d be listening to Snoop Dogg.”

The 35-year-old found herself in the bottom two after a dramatic night in which the stage was invaded during her performance.

Honey had just finished rapping MC Hammer’s U Can’t Touch This, part of the Louis Loves theme, when a man rushed the stage and tried to touch her. During judge Louis’s comments on her efforts, the man ran up behind her, grabbed her shoulders and tried to take her microphone.

A prankster group called Trollstation later took credit for the stunt.

She pulled out all the stops in the sing-off, giving a rousing rendition of her version of Tupac Shakur’s California Love that features her trademark “When I say Honey, you say G” chant.

But the panel – who last week elected to save Honey from elimination – decided she was no match for 5 After Midnight, who gave a stirring performance of Labrinth’s Beneath Your Beautiful.

Sharon pleaded with Simon and Nicole to give her act another chance, but former Pussycat Doll Nicole and show boss Simon both chose to send Honey packing.

Honey sang Mrs O’s praises, she said: “Sharon is probably one of the most unbelievable people I’ve ever met.

“Nobody in my whole life has ever stuck up for me the way that she did for me last night. I’ll never ever forget the way she’s been so good to me. She even sent me a message last night saying we are friends for life.”

It may not be the last we’ve seen of Honey though, as Simon may sign her to his label Syco where she will joinm the likes of One Direction and Olly Murs.

Honey said: “The main reason I entered  X Factor is because I really want a record deal. I’m not interested in anything else.

“Hopefully with Syco I know the team really well and we are all friends. It would be lovely to be signed by them.”
