Myleene Klass has shared videos of her rarely seen daughter Ava, 11, reading a poem celebrating single mothers.
To celebrate Mother’s Day, 40-year-old Myleene, who is currently pregnant with her third child, proudly shared her eldest daughter’s tribute.

Ava read: “When I explain my unit to new people that I meet. When they learn that I don’t have a dad, they look down at their feet.
“They assume that this upsets me, like it’s a choice I never chose, but they don’t understand that I’m happiest with the people I love most.
“They’ve grown up with two parents and believe that that’s the norm, but families are all different, they come in many forms.”

She continued: “My Mum is both my mum and dad, my hashtag number one, my inspiration, role model, the source of all my fun.”
The Classic FM presenter usually keeps daughters Ava and her eight-year-old sister Hero out of the spotlight. However, she made an exception to share Ava was seen reading out her self-penned poem praising Myleene.

The former pop star split from Ava and Hero’s father, bodyguard Graham Quinn, after just six months of marriage when he allegedly walked out on her on her 34th birthday six years ago.
Ava also gave a nod to Simon Motson, Myleene’s new partner, saying how Simon makes her “mum so happy and drives me to dance”.

Myleene posted the full video with the caption: “The reaction to this on my stories has been insane. Your msgs say it all, so I’ve put it up here for you to read in all its glory.
“My daughter wrote this for me today, she is simply incredible. I don’t know what I did to deserve her. Happy Mother’s Day to ALL the amazing mums out there whatever your unit may look like x.”

Myleene’s celeb friends also rushed to Instagram to praise her parenting. Lauren Laverne wrote: “Darling Ava. She’s completely right and a credit to you. Love you both so much.”
While Kate Thornton added: “Gorgeously put. Our units, like people, come in all shapes and configurations – but as long as they’re bursting with love they work. Love always wins the day! Well done on raising such exceptional little girls.”
Even Keith Lemon got in on the thread, simply commenting: “Wicked.”
