It’s often reported that Cheryl Tweedy and Nadine Coyle have been locked in a so-called showbiz feud for years now – it’s no secret that the two of them, despite being band mates for a decade, are not great pals.
And Nadine, 32, took the opportunity for yet another swipe at Cheryl when she appeared on Loose Women to promote her solo album.
Nadine has spoken about incidents with Cheryl in the past, specifically the details around Girls Aloud’s break-up, which she says happened without her even being consulted.
On today’s Loose Women, Nadine didn’t deny the rumours of friction between her and Cheryl, and then Jane Moore asked what she’d say if they were in a room together.
And her reply wasn’t exactly gushing. Nadine said: “I would say, ‘Hello, hello!'” before adding: “She has a young baby, I have a daughter so I know what it’s like when they’re at that age.”

And that was about it! Not exactly falling into each other’s arms to catch up on old times, is it?
Nadine was on the show to talk about her new single, Go To Work, and was asked if any of her former bandmates had been in touch to offer well wishes.
It transpired that only one had – Sarah Harding, with whom Nadine is still close. The Irish singer spoke openly about the pressures of being in a girlband, saying: “That’s when I had first moved over to the States as well.
“You’re so busy, you’re doing so much work… I think it was about four singles a year and an album and a tour, so we were constantly doing promo.”
She went on: “You’re so busy and you’re so young and it’s difficult not to be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff that you’re doing.”
Cheryl and Nadine famously fell out in 2013, as the band were performing their 10th anniversary tour.
Nadine said the four other girls in the group – Cheryl, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh – had talked together in secret about disbanding.

And the first Nadine heard of the plan was when the statement was already prepared, just as she was about to go on stage.
She said in 2014: “I wouldn’t do that to a, quote, friend of mine. If I had decided to do something else I would tell them. I wouldn’t have operated in that way if it had been in my control, but it wasn’t.”
Pretty harsh by anyone’s standards. We wouldn’t clear a space on the mantelpiece for a Christmas card, Cheryl.
