Most mums with a two-month-old baby aren’t even thinking about how sexy they look, but Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe has been nominated as Sexiest Female at the upcoming Inside Soap Awards.
The star, currently on maternity leave from the soap, posted a snap of her looking a little tired to Instagram asking people to vote for her and Hollyoaks.
She captioned the image: “Up for sexiest female at this years Inside Soap Awards. pls vote for me and all things @hollyoaksofficial.”
It’s fair to say the camera angle might not have been the best, but she’s still a stunner!
Fans were quick to comment on the snap, with many saying “Love it”, and others commenting on how “real” she was.
“She’s so funny,” said one, while another added: “Brilliant!!! So so brilliant!!”
Jen will compete against fellow Hollyoaker Rachel Adedeji (Lisa Loveday), EastEnders stars Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren Branning), Shona McGarty (Whitney Dean), Corrie’s Helen Flanagan (Rosie Webster) and Catherine Tyldesley (Eva Price), and Emmerdale actresses Fiona Wade (Priya Sharma) and Natalie J Robb (Moira Barton).

Jennifer welcomed her first child with partner Greg Lake, Daye Colmic Lake, into the world on June 20 on one of the hottest days of the year.
She recently revealed him on the cover of OK! magazine.
The couple also finally gave fans what they all wanted to know: the tot’s name.
Jennifer told the publication that she made the name up as she travelled to Newcastle two years ago and knew that was what she’d call her first son.
The middle name is a sweet tribute to both of Daye’s grandfathers.
“My dad was called Colin and Greg’s dad is Mick,” Jen explained. “Greg quite likes having the dads’ names carry on and I’m not a fan of more than one middle name. I wanted something original.”
It’s certainly that!

The actress, who is taking a year off from playing Mercedes McQueen in Hollyoaks, also opened up about her labour experience, saying it was “straight-forward” and that she “pushed him out in about five minutes.”
Jen has been fairly quiet on her social media accounts since the birth, but last month she posted a candid picture of her post-baby body.
Sitting cross-legged on the floor with a big smile in front of the mirror, Jen looked happy as Larry!
But in the accompanying text, she opened up about life after giving birth and revealed that her body has been through the wars.
She wrote: “4weeks afta my boy [h]as vacated his apartment this is w[h]at I’m left wi[th] [a]n[d] it really isn’t that bad!
“I know a lot o[f] women feel anxious about w[h]at their postpartum body will look like,but4me,this was the least o my worries(I [h]ada poo pregnancy!)
“I wa[s]nt worried about w[h]at my body was goin2look like w[h]en my boy [h]ad finished usin it 2grow, Instead I was intrigued/excited 2c the new me..n I like it! [sic]”
The 34-year-old then told all the parts of her body that have changed including her boobs, bum and nipples.
Jen also explained that her arms and legs are wobblier and she says she feels “rounder”.
Well done to her for being so honest!
