It’s not been a brilliant year for Katie Price, with public spats, marital woes and kidnapping threats all conspiring to give the former glamour model grief.
And yet, if you were to visit her Instagram feed right now, you’d see the 39-year-old beaming from ear to ear.
That’s because she’s posted a wacky video showing off her snazzy new fangs to her 1.7 million followers.
But while some heaped praise on Katie’s revamped pearly whites, it’s fair to say that not everyone took a shine to them.
Like many aspects of her life, Katie’s recent dental work has been filled with drama.
According to the Mirror, the mum-of-five was in tears before appearing on Good Morning Britain last month, as the temporary veneers she was wearing hurt her so much.
She went ahead with the appearance, but viewers were left bemused as she apparently struggled to speak throughout.
A week later, after having her teeth fixed permanently in Turkey while her husband Kieran Hayler stayed at home with the kids, Katie showed them off on Loose Women – but explained that the experience hadn’t all been plain sailing.

She told the panel: “My veneers were ten years old, so I needed new ones. I went backwards and forwards from Turkey to sort them out.
“Last week, I was due on Loose Women and they gave me all these antibiotics. But on the way, I felt really ill.
“I realised I hadn’t read the box. I’m allergic to penicillin, so I was really ill for days after that.”
Fast-forward to today, and it’s obvious from Katie’s short video that her new smile has really grown on her.
It’s captioned with the words: “Soooo happy with my final result of my new teeth me smile [sic]!
“Pain free no injections proud of my self massive thank you to everyone @dental_centre_turkey best place for teeth and I should know I’ve been everywhere!”

Most people seemed to like Katie’s gleaming new grin. One fan gushed: “Wow… beautiful teeth.”
Another added: “Definitely something to smile about!!! Cheesing for you.”
And a third chipped in: “They look very natural.”
However, other followers disagreed. One mocked: “Too fake-looking, and I don’t like the idea of having rotting tombstone teeth under those veneers.”
A second criticised: “They look lop-sided to me.”
And a third slated her by saying: “Your [sic] starting to look clown-like. Need to stop all these unnecessary procedures.”
