Jessica Knowles has revealed how much her estranged husband Nick did for her during one of the scariest moments of her life.
The beauty said that Nick’s insistence enabled her to treat her cervical cancer earlier, and pretty much saved her life.
The DIY SOS star told her that she should go to the doctor.

In an interview with Woman magazine, she explained: “I revealed my symptoms, he seemed anxious.
“‘You should go to the doctor’, he said. At first I batted away his concern. Surely he was just being overprotective.
“After a few weeks, he was insistent I went. Perhaps it was best to get checked out – just in case.”
The 28-year-old married Nick in a stunning ceremony in Rome in 2012 but announced their separation in January last year.
They got back together for a short while in November and Nick ended up moving back into her home.
However, three weeks later they split again.
It was alleged that Nick was seeing somebody else at the time.
A source told the Daily Star: “Nick had a 21-year-old blonde woman looking after his place, and Jess was sure something was going on. She’s told friends she found “evidence in his house” like women’s hair ties… It’s the talk of the town where they live.”
Nick had a brief fling with Emmerdale star Gemma Oaten, but she said he called it off abruptly.

She told The Mirror: “In an instant he completely changed. It was all about him and how it was going to affect his family. It was really cruel as he said it didn’t matter for me.
“I felt sick. I said, ‘Do you want to throw away what we have got? We haven’t done anything wrong.’ But he just dropped me like a tonne of bricks.”
