Nicola McLean has opened up about the rare condition that has left her nearly blind in one eye.
The former glamour model was attacked relentlessly by cruel trolls during her time in Celebrity Big Brother.
At one point in the house, she was seen arguing with fellow CBB contestant Kim Woodburn while covering one of her eyes.

In an interview with The Sun, the mother-of-two has now revealed how “concerned” she is, as her eyesight only starting going two months before taking part in the Channel 5 show.
Nicola, 35, said: “I have always had bad eyesight in my left eye but my right eye has always been fine.
“About two months before Big Brother I noticed my eyesight changed. Now I can barely see out of this eye, I’ve got a contact in it now.
“Basically what’s happened is, this right eye, I can’t see out of but it’s also developed an adult squint, which is so rare.”
This sounds horrible.
As you can imagine, the model has been pretty paranoid about it.
“I can’t focus with it, so it wanders, without glasses or a contact it just wanders everywhere because I can’t see out of it.”
Nicola was in fact born with a squint in her left eye, but this was later rectified.
However, doctors think that a potential cause for her eye problems COULD be pregnancy related.
They have said that pregnancy may have spurred on diabetes from when she had her two sons, Rocky and Striker.

Nicola has recently revealed her lazy eye is easily fixed but her eyesight won’t be.
“I’m OK because with a contact or my glasses it’s fine, mine’s not a lazy eye it’s a proper squint, so if I took my contact lens out now it would just wander.”
Some of the comments on Twitter while she was in the house were really cruel.
One said: “Can’t cope with Nicola McLean’s bonk eye”
Another horrible user wrote: “Nicola McLean I hate you and your gozzy eye #cbb”
The fashion designer added about her time in the house: “I didn’t want to be on tele with an eye wandering so I’d cover it.
“The prescription to go from good to as bad as it is, is not normal. It’s quite concerning.”
