Nicole Richie celebrated her 35th birthday this weekend with a star-studded 70s-themed party.
Many of Hollywood’s biggest names donned their best disco outfits to help the fashion designer daughter of Lionel Richie celebrate in style.
Richie’s husband rocker Joel Madden, 37, was there, as was sister-in-law Cameron Diaz, 44 and BFF’s Jessica Alba, 35, Kate Hudson, 37, celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, 45, and Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo 46.
The party was at Hollywood’s The Standard hotel on Saturday night.
Before heading to the venue, Richie got ready for her big night with Diaz and other friends.
In a post on Instagram the girls are seen getting ready with the help of stylist Davy Newkirk, who helped give the ladies perfect 70s-inspired hairdos.
Guests at the party enjoyed a roller rink and danced to tunes including Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ and Diana Ross’ ‘I’m Coming Out’
Several of the celeb guests took to Instagram during the night to share photos from the celebration.
Alba, who wore a metallic gold dress, shared an Instagram video of herself, Richie and the girls, writing, “Loved celebrating this gorgeous babe @nicolerichie #hbd #disco #lanights.”
Hudson looked stunning in a black jumpsuit, as she shared a moment from the night, which she captioned on Instagram, “Happy birthday gorgeous! @nicolerichie #DiscoNight”
Stylist Rachel Zoe posted a photo of herself standing next to Richie and her famous singer dad and captioned it: ‘The real deal the one and only @lionelrichie and @nicolerichie #solidgold #theorgiginal #oldfriendsarethebestfriends’
Her 35th year is already looking good as E! News confirmed she is set to work on an upcoming TV series.
Nicole will break into the scripted comedy world as a series regular on NBC’s Great News.
The sitcom, centering on a mother-daughter relationship, will premiere midseason.
