Uh-oh. Looks like someone at W magazine has been a little heavy handed with Photoshop. The 10th anniversary issue of the uber cool title features supermodels du jour Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner looking gorgeous and flawless.
We say flawless. But if you look in the leg area you’ll see the girls have GOT NO KNEES. They’ve been airbrushed away. We can’t imagine they have nasty knees either… so why someone’s even gone near ‘em, go figure.

Amy Childs
We do love Amy Childs. The former TOWIE star has such a refreshingly real personality. Sadly the same can’t be said of her appearance – ‘fake it to make it’ could be her motto. And the same could be said of her attitude towards pictures of herself. Just look at the epic Photoshop cock-up on this latest snap; unless her front door is seriously warped…

We all know that magazines have been editing images of celebs to make them look better for years and with advancing technology, stars have been taking matters – and Photoshop – into their own hands.
Here are some of the funniest celebrity Photoshop fails ever!
Mariah Carey
Here is Mariah Carey in 2009 looking sensational on the cover of her album, Me. I am Mariah. Now here is Mariah snapped at an event several days after the release, with her figure looking significantly fuller.
Kate Middleton
The UK’s Grazia magazine came under serious fire when this Royal Wedding issue hit the stands in 2011.
It was quickly noticed that Kate’s waist looked as though it had been considerably slimmed down on the cover – like it ever needed it! The mag was forced to release a statement explaining their actions but they claimed the pic was altered to remove Prince William so that the cover showed Kate alone.
To achieve this, they had to digitally mirror Kate’s arm and, in doing so, slimmed down her waist. Hmmm, anyone buying that?
Prince William
And here is Prince William surviving a cover! In fact, he is the sole cover star of this February 2010 issue of Hello! magazine. However, fans were shocked to see that his usually blonde and sparse locks were brown, and that he had a lot more hair on his head, too.
Like we weren’t going to notice that!
Prince George
Staying with the Royal Family, Prince George was also edited on magazine cover US Weekly in 2014. Yes, the son of Prince William and Kate Middleton who was born in 2013, and was involved in his first Photoshop scandal at only 10 months old.
The image selected for the mag appeared to show Prince George with lighter cheeks, hair, eyes, AND eyebrows in comparison with the original image (right). The tabloid denied making any intentional changes to George’s face, though, of course.
Beyonce
Two Russian magazines decided to use the same image of Beyonce on their covers in 2007. The major problem with this is that they both gave Beyonce a different colour complexion. Bizarre!
Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian posed for this original photo (right) seven days after giving birth to her son Mason, in 2009.
A short while later, this second image (left) appeared on the cover of OK! magazine, which changed the colour of Kourtney and Mason’s clothing to give the impression of a new photo shoot. They also slimmed Kourtney’s stomach down, making her look as though she’d lost all of her baby weight.
Kourtney, who was annoyed by the situation, responded by saying: “They doctored and Photoshopped my body to make it look like I have already lost all the weight, which I have not.”
Good for her!
Lauren Goodger
Lauren Goodger was NOT happy when paparazzi – allegedly – edited her photos apparently to make it look as though she had gained weight.
The former TOWIE star posted her own picture in September 2016 next to the pap shot, and you can definitely tell some Photoshop has taken place.
Lauren wrote on social media: “My mate just took a photo of me walking up the street and can’t believe how different I look in pap pics even down to colour of make up!! No edit no filters raw image!
“Few hours between photos! Sorry just had 2 be said!! Can you spot the difference? I’m not as big in real life to pap photos!!!!!”.
Kelly Brook
Fans slammed Kelly Brook after she Photoshopped her body to look smaller in November 2013. In an image taken the same day which appeared in the press, the model’s body looked noticeably curvier than in the shot she posted on her Instagram.
Kelly later admitted she had edited the photos, and defended her decision to use the tool.
She wrote: “I embrace my curves and love my body. Slightly Photoshopping pics is no different to women wearing fake hair, putting chicken fillets in their bras, squeezing into Spanx or having filler and Botox in their face. None of which I do.”

Katy Perry
Oh dear… In 2010, it was Katy Perry’s turn for the Photoshop treatment. California Gurls singer Katy Perry has very clearly been edited for this Rolling Stone magazine cover.
Her hand has been moved; the thighs have been thinned; her skin has been smoothed over; her breasts have been made fuller – they seem to have edited EVERYTHING!
Fergie
In this November 2010 issue of Glamour, Fergie’s legs have been airbrushed to completely different sizes, with her right leg appearing MUCH wider than her left.
Filippa Hamilton
Fashion giants Ralph Lauren were forced to make a public apology after this image of Filippa Hamilton (right) was released in October 2009, having been dramatically Photoshopped. “I saw my face on this super-extremely skinny girl, which is not me; it’s not healthy, it’s not right,” the appalled model from the shoot explained to the media.
Not long after this, Filippa left the company “as a result of her inability to meet the obligations under her contract”. Hamilton, who says Ralph Lauren were like her second family, says she was fired for being “overweight”. Which she clearly wasn’t. Tsssk.
Kate Winslet
Kate Winslet’s face has been airbrushed so significantly in this October 2013 Vogue cover image that she looks a completely different women.
Her complexion and eyes have changed colour entirely, and any sign of a wrinkle has been completely erased. When asked about this, Kate said that “all women should be appreciated” and that the picture was “ridiculous”.
We love her.
Kim Kardashian
The reality TV star was not amused and took to Twitter, saying, “BTW tabloid… please don’t Photoshop my clothes! If they Photoshop my clothes who knows what else they tweak.”
Ronda Rousey
UFC star Ronda Rousey had her arm size decreased on a pic from The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, and she posted the picture on social media “unintentionally”.
She later said: “This goes against everything I believe and I am extremely proud of every inch of my body. I could not be more appalled and hope you all forgive me [for posting the edited picture on her instagram].”
Ronda’s honesty was applauded by her fans, with the image receiving over 240,000 likes.
Kristen Stewart
When Kristen Stewart (awkwardly) posed on the cover of Glamour in November 2011, she too fell victim to the Photoshop madness.
Whose idea was it to cut off half of her arm (which somehow disappears into her leg)?!
Meghan Trainor
Pop sensation Meghan Trainor is another at the other end of the spectrum- calling out Photoshop monkeys. The singer was furious when she realised her music video for single Me Too in May 2016 had been ‘shopped; her waist had been edited to be thinner as well as her legs.
She told her fans on Snapchat: “They photoshopped the crap out of me and I’m so sick of it, so I took it down until they fix it!”

Lindsay Lohan
Oh Lindsay…
The American actress took to Instagram in March 2015 to share a picture of her bending over dressed in a black leotard. You don’t even need to look closely to see how curved and distorted it looks behind her legs. Despite lots of criticism, Lohan has kept the post on her social media.
This isn’t the first time Lindsay has tried fooling the public, which moves us on swiftly to our next Photoshop fail…

Only one month later, in April 2015 the American actress and singer shared a snap of herself looking particularly trim and then quickly deleted it. Funnily enough this was after her followers noticed the weirdly wavy stairs behind her. You’re not fooling anyone, Lindsay.
Beyonce (AGAIN)
This time it was Beyonce altering her image. Yes, she might be one of the best-looking women in the world, but even Queen B feels the need to alter her Instagram snaps. Fans were outraged when the singer clearly slimmed down her thighs when playing golf in April 2014. WHY?
Amanda Holden
UK starlet Amanda Holden was criticised by fans after sharing this sun-soaked bikini snap in June 2015. The Britain’s Got Talent star was accused by her Instagram followers of getting a little extra help from Photoshop in her latest snap, and we can see where they’re coming from.
Either a tsunami is building in the background or the horizon has been edited to look wonky. We’re gonna go with the latter. The 45-year-old TV talent judge quickly deleted the snap, without any explanation.
