Noel Gallagher has made a statement to the nation after his brother ridiculed him on social media.
Liam Gallagher sang at the One Love Manchester concert to support Ariana Grande and the 22 victims that died in the bombing.
His older brother was nowhere to be seen, and Liam slammed him for not playing “for the kids”(along with a few expletives).

But the best response has come from Noel. It turns out that he donated a LOT of money to the victims of the Manchester attack by handing over all the royalties from Don’t Look Back In Anger.
Wow!
What’s more, the money was donated way before the concert actually took place.
It has also been reported that he had already made commitments with his family he couldn’t get out of. Plus, it is also being said that he was never actually invited.
The news was revealed by Radio X DJ Gordon Smart, who said: “I’ve seen some unpleasant headlines about Noel and why he never played the gig in Manchester at the weekend.
“It’s only right to point out, and I don’t think this is public knowledge because I’m sure he would never mention it, but I found out today that as soon as Don’t Look Back In Anger started to appear spontaneously at the vigils, he made sure all the royalties went to the families.
“That was before any gig was mentioned.”
Hear that, Liam?

Gordon added: “It seems wrong to me that Noel’s getting a hard time for a reunion he was never part of.
“It’s a shame any attention at all has been taken away from a really special occasion at Old Trafford. But there you go, true fact.
“He gave his blessing for the songs without any drama at all.”
Funnily enough, there hasn’t been any other comment from Liam.
He got put in his place.
