Not all viewers were impressed with Holly Willoughby’s DOI appearance

In our eyes – and those of her legions of Instagram followers who pour over her daily outfit updates – Holly Willoughby can so no wrong in the style stakes.

But she didn’t win over all viewers of Dancing On Ice with her dress for the latest live show – and nor did co-host Phillip Schofield, come to that.

Some felt they looked like they’d dressed for a funeral, rather than an entertainment show.

Presenter Holly decided against sequins and sparkle in a long black fitted number for Sunday night’s episode of the ITV show, and Phil looked similarly sombre in a dark suit and a polo neck.

Alongside some Twitter users’ comments about the funeral attire, others joked that Holly looked as if she had borrowed an outfit from the Addams Family’s Morticia.

One person said: “Are Phil and Holly going to a funeral after the show?!”

“@hollywills and @Schofe looked so glam last week. Bit disappointing this week looks like there of to a an old aunts funeral,” said another.

One viewer joked: “Did Holly Willoughby raid Morticia Addams wardrobe for that dress?”

Meanwhile, for others, the subject of Holly’s weight loss came up again – and they were preoccupied with where her famous ‘Willoughboobies’ had gone… (we were still seeing them?!).

However, many fans agreed that Willoughby looked as “beautiful as ever”.

“Holly looks amazing!! NEED THAT DRESS IN MY LIFE,” tweeted one person, while another said: “Absolutely love Holly’s dress, she looks so elegant.”

We’re sure Holly has a good giggle at some of the less positive comments… she’s the one living – and wearing – the dream, after all!
