Ofcom has now received more than 7,000 complaints over Loose Women’s episode featuring Kim Woodburn.
Earlier this week it was revealed the broadcasting watchdog had received 3,297 complaints.
That number has now risen to 7,015.
Ofcom will assess the complaints before deciding whether or not to investigate.
How Clean is Your House? star Kim appeared on the show to bury the hatchet with Coleen Nolan after the pair fell out on last year’s Celebrity Big Brother.
But the interview resulted in Kim storming off the show’s set in tears after she and Coleen became embroiled in a bitter and furious row.

Kim claimed she only appeared on the daytime show to patch things up with Coleen and was left “incredibly sad” after storming off set in tears.
Her rep told ED! in a statement: “Kim was invited onto Loose Women as she was told Coleen wanted to hold peace talks with her.
“When she arrived this morning, Kim was briefed and told Coleen would speak first and give her reasons for their row. She was told Coleen wanted to bury the hatchet.”
“However when Kim walked on set, Coleen refused to speak first and made Kim do all the talking. This left Kim on the spot and out of her depth.
“This incident has left Kim incredibly upset and she feels disappointed with what happened.”
Kim later told The Sun she’d like to see Coleen and her sister Linda Nolan, 59, given the boot from Loose Women as she believes they both “mocked” her when she spoke about her abusive childhood.
However, both Coleen and Loose Women spoke out after the incident and had a different view on what happened.

A spokesperson for Loose Women said: “Kim agreed to come onto the panel today at the invitation of the producers on the understanding it was for a reconciliation with Coleen.
“Kim becoming upset was never the intention and the panel did endeavour to comfort her. She was offered counselling after the show, which she declined.”
Meanwhile, Coleen told the Mirror following their clash: “I wish Kim well. I hate to see anyone unhappy. But I want to forget we ever met again. I will never appear on a show with her again.
“It is better we keep to our own paths.”

Coleen’s rep previously said the TV reunion had not been Coleen’s idea, and was instead devised by Loose Women’s producers.
A statement released in the aftermath of the row said: “For clarity – Coleen did not ask for Kim Woodburn to come on the show nor ask to be reunited with her – Loose Women organised the show.
“Coleen has no say in their choice of guests. Coleen stayed as calm as possible whilst being insulted live on air which was incredibly unpleasant.”
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
