Love Island’s first newlyweds Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen have taken to Instagram to show off their brand new wedding rings.
Olivia shared a shot of the couple’s hands to Instagram Stories, giving fans a first-look at their shiny new rings, with the caption: “Just married.”

The bride’s ring is an elegant, diamond encrusted band that matches her stunning engagement ring, while the groom’s is a simple, solid band.
The couple are getting ready to go on their honeymoon after tying the knot on Saturday, although that appears to be causing some slight complications – at least in the packing arena!
Olivia shared a post claiming she was struggling to choose which make-up products she’d need.
She posted a shot of her make-up table with the caption: “Trying to pack a ‘light’ make up case. Way more difficult than I imagined.”
Olivia also took the time to respond to her fans’ requests for photos of the wedding – saying they won’t be able to share any until next week.
“Guys, we don’t get our official wedding photos back until next week some time. So please be patient with me, we’ll always share what we can with you all, we promise – just in good time.
“I appreciate all the lovely messages from you all. Like I said before; we’re just enjoying a little break from posting on our social media feeds.”
The pair married on Saturday at Gosfield Hall in Essex – but missing from the proceedings was Olivia’s Love Island BFF Cara De La Hoyde, and her other half, Nathan Massey.
Cara was set to be one of the bridesmaids at the lavish wedding, but just weeks beforehand, Olivia suggested she step down, claiming that her new baby Freddie meant she was too busy.
At the time, Olivia spoke about the decision in her column for New! Magazine, claiming the decision hadn’t caused any bad blood.
“You don’t have to be a bridesmaid to know that we are good friends,” she said.
But Cara claimed to be shocked and hurt by the decision. Speaking to New! Magazine this week, Cara said she was “gutted” not to be a bridesmaid.
“I’m very shocked that it happened,” she said. “I didn’t expect it. I’m a little bit gutted about the whole situation.”
But she went on to say that the most important thing was that the bride and groom are happy.

“It’s Olivia’s wedding and I want her to have an amazing day,” she said. “The whole day’s about her and Alex and that’s what I want it to be about.”
The two became good friends on the set of series two of Love Island – which Cara and Nathan went on to win, while Olivia and Alex came second.
