Charlotte Campbell, mum of Manchester terror attack victim Olivia Campbell, has praised US singer Ariana Grande for paying tribute to her daughter at the One Love Manchester concert last night.
Charlotte and partner Paul appeared on Good Morning Britain to talk about the emotional concert and what she told the 23-year-old after meeting her.
The concert took place yesterday evening to honour those who lost their lives in the awful bomb attack in Manchester Arena just two weeks ago.

Speaking to hosts Piers Morgan, 52, and Susanna Reid, 46, Charlotte said: “She [Ariana] wanted to play the non-hits, she didn’t feel it appropriate to play the big ones that everyone wanted to dance to.
“And we said ‘no, you play the hits you sing your heart out, make everyone get up and dance. Don’t let anyone tell you not to do something.'”
Susanna added: “She also said that when she met you she was in tears and you said Olivia would have had something to say about that.”
Charlotte said: “Yeah she would. Olivia wouldn’t want anybody in tears. Olivia was a smiley girl and I just told her straight, stop crying and smile.”
Charlotte then went on to directly thank the singer for organising the incredible concert. She said: “Thank you for singing your hits.
“You’re an amazing, amazing young woman.”
Last night thousands tuned in to watch the benefit concert which paid tribute to the 22 victims who lost their lives and over 100 others who were injured.
Ariana was joined by Take That, Little Mix, Robbie Williams, Miley Cyrus and many other performers to pay tribute to those who were affected by the dreadful attack.
Ariana revealed she completely changed her plans for the concert after meeting the grieving mother.
During the gig she told the crowd: “I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia’s mummy a few days ago and as soon as I met her I started crying and gave her a big hug.
“She told me to stop crying as Olivia wouldn’t want me to cry and said Olivia would have wanted to hear the hits.
“We had a totally different show planned and had a rehearsal but changed everything.
“Tonight has been filled with love and fun and bright energy, so thank you for that.”
As the amazing concert came to a close Ariana returned to the stage joined by all the musicians who performed throughout the night as she sang her song One Last Time.
She told her fans: “Manchester, I love you with all my heart.”
She then stood alone on stage to sing Over The Rainbow as she broke down in tears.
The star reportedly managed to help raise more than £2 million for the victims and their grieving families during the concert alone.
