You’ve got to love Olly Murs; he may be a successful singer in his own right, and more recently a coach on The Voice UK, but may it never be said he doesn’t know how to have fun.
In one of the funniest Instastories we’ve seen in a long while, the 33 year old starts off looking smart and dapper as he becomes Godfather to his best mate, Jake Wakelin’s daughter, Hallie.
After showing us around the church, and sharing some images of himself and the other godparents…
… it then started to get messy!

In one clip, Olly was shown with a bottle of Dom Pérignon vintage champagne, shouting “DP, DP” as he swigs from the bottle, whilst one of the other people at the party encouraged him, shouting “Down it , down it, down it”.
Oh Olly, this was never going to end well was it?
You always know when you’ve had a bit too much to drink when you go on the hunt for food.
And, like any other drunken Essex boy, he walks into town to find something to eat on a Sunday night.
He says: “Just walking up the road, it’s like the old school days,” as he giggles away.
“Only one place to go when you’ve had a few drinks in Witham. Chicken… Favorite Chicken” as he makes a clucking noise to the camera and laughs.
Always good to know should you find yourself in Witham!
As he walks in, he looks to see what he wants, and orders a Double Ringer Burger.
Sounds interesting!

Collecting his chicken goodness, he says to the camera “I’ve already got my chicken, where’s dad at? Where you at Daddy where you at?”
If you weren’t confused by then, it became clear that Olly had in fact called Dad cabs to get him home.
Yes, even a popstar needs a lift from his dad in times of drunkenness!
As he crosses the road to meet his dad, he laughs saying “Dad’s picking me up. There he is! Go on dad.”
As he opens the car door to reveal his dad Peter.
Bless him!
His Instastories was finished off with an image is of a very hungover Olly showing a man being chased by a chicken, along with a logo of someone being sick in the toilet.
Oh dear Olly, did someone have a drink too many last night?
He also added an Instagram post that simply said: “Sunday night drinking at its finest! Happy Monday everyone”
Fans were quick to offer their hangover cures…
Whilst others had no sympathy!
Well, we can be sure of one thing, the streets of Witham will be an Olly free zone tonight!
