On the surface, Olly Murs is the man who has everything. A successful pop and TV career, girls falling over themselves to date him – and he’s even got the dance moves to boot.
But beneath the glitz and the glamour, there’s been something troubling the Essex-born heartthrob for years.
And now he’s determined to put it right.
As we’ve previously reported, Olly, 33, hasn’t spoken to his twin brother Ben since 2009, after the star turned down the chance to be best man at Ben’s wedding so that he could appear on the semi-final of The X Factor.
Ollie eventually finished runner-up in the talent show behind Joe McElderry.
At the time, a furious Ben labelled his brother a “self-obsessed sell-out”, and even took his wife’s surname so that people wouldn’t associate him with the Murs clan.
He’s also claimed that the rift has separated the Murs family, with his parents and sister siding with Olly.

But now, Olly is prepared to let bygones be bygones.
“Every artist has a dark side or something that is against them. Mine was always my brother,” explained the Heart Skips A Beat singer.
“I think there’s still a love between us, it’s just about finding a resolution and finding that moment where you can make it all come together and be fine.”

For his part, engineer Ben hinted in a recent interview with The Mail On Sunday that he might also be up for a reunion – although there were reservations.
“I don’t care about the superstar Olly Murs. I don’t need his money or his life – I just want to know my brother.”
Since exploding onto the scene with that X Factor appearance, Olly has scored 13 UK Top 20 hits, and he’s also presented a number of different TV shows, including The X Factor itself along with Caroline Flack.
But we get the feeling he won’t be completely satisfied until the Murs massive are playing happy families again.
