The Spice Girls sent everyone into a spin last week when they reunited for the first time since 2012.
Meeting at Geri’s house, the former bandmates posed for a series of pictures shared to Instagram, sparking speculation and excitement about whether they were getting back together.
Then an incredibly exciting statement was released confirming the iconic group were “exploring some incredible new opportunities together”.
There’s no word yet on what these opportunities might be, but we’ll take what we can get, right?
The full statement read: “We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together.
“We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for the Spice Girls. The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together.
“We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of the Spice Girls while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations.”
So exciting!
Rumours about what the girls will do include a new tour, new music, a talent show and even appearing on Chinese TV, but they’ve yet to say whether any of that is true.

In an interview with The Sun today, Geri would only say: “Whatever we decide to do, however it unfolds, it will be something joyful and very connective.
“We love our fans, we love the music, we respect them. And we want to share that spirit of the Spice Girls.
“All I can say is: Watch this space.”
Oh, we will, Geri, we will!
