James Bond bosses have revealed former One Direction singer Harry Styles could be in with a chance of becoming the next 007 secret agent.
After winning rave reviews for his first film role in Christpher Nolan’s Dunkirk, Harry is in with a fighting chance of landing the leading role in James Bond, which the director and producer happens to be working on.
Nolan is set to direct the James Bond movies, and his friend Lee Smith, film editor on Sceptre, reckons after earning his stripes starring in the World War II drama, Harry could step into Daniel Craig’s shoes when he hangs up his tuxedo.
The next James Bond is not expected to debut until 2022, by which time Harry, 23, would be 28 – the youngest Bond in the history of the films.

Mr Smith told the Daily Star newspaper: “Harry could do it. If they wanted a younger Bond then why not? He has got it.”
Craig, 49, has agreed to play the role for the next film, but it could be his last.
Mr Smith is championing Harry as a great Hollywood actor of the future.
He said: “Harry is really good and he can go all the way. He is an exceptional talent and a complete natural on camera.
“You would have thought you were dealing with a guy with many years of experience. You would never know that was his first film. I didn’t know who Harry was.
“Of course my daughter explained to me that you don’t get any more famous than Harry Styles. But he was really good and a genuinely charismatic fellow.
“If he wants to act, I cannot imagine he would not have a great future.”
