The 21-year-old went missing near her home on Thursday after being out with friends. She has not been seen since she got into a taxi outside the Welly nightclub in central Hull at around 11pm.

Her parents launched an emotional TV appeal to find her today.

Humberside police released a video of Russell and Lisa Squire pleading for help to find their daughter.

Libby’s father, Russell, urged anyone to come forward with any information, “no matter how small”.

He added: “We just want you home.”

Police believe she got out of her taxi around 5 minutes after she was last seen, as CCTV footage captured her walking along near her home at about 11.45pm, where a motorist was seen pulling over to help her.

Police say the motorist has since been helpful.

Libby’s friend Ryan Tweddell helped lead a search of their university campus on Saturday and said Libby “helps everyone who needs it and is a lovely, brilliant girl.”
