Paul Hollywood’s brother-in-law Simon Moores has been killed in a plane crash in Spain.
His light aircraft went down near Errezil in the north of the country in thick fog, according to The Sun.
The tragic news comes just days after Paul’s ex, Alex, spoke about the break-up of her marriage to the Great British Bake-Off star.
Simon, from Westgate-on-Sea, Kent, was 62 and a father of two.
Last year he criticised his brother-in-law’s new relationship with a barmaid 30 years his junior.
“I am sure it will all end in tears,” he is reported to have said in April.
Simon was flying a Piper Arrow III from the Portuguese town of Cascais to San Sebastian.
The plane crashed into Mount Hernio at around 2pm.
He had been tweeting about his journey, sharing pictures from the cockpit, yesterday.

A friend has shared his condolences on Twitter after hearing the tragic news.
I fear that my flying friend, banner pilot Simon Moores, has died in an aeroplane crash in Spain. A second man also died. I’m shocked, and feel deeply for all their friends and family who are grieving. RIP Simon. pic.twitter.com/KYUGIC8Bnb
