Telly favourite Paul O’Grady married his partner of a decade Andre Portasio earlier this year and they are blissfully happy, but their relationship isn’t what most would consider ‘conventional’.
The For The Love Of Dogs host has revealed that he and Andre don’t live together – and they never have.

“We’re doing a Helena Bonham-Carter and Tim whatshisname, and it works a treat,” the 62-year-old joked.
He’s referring, of course to the A-list actress and her husband Tim Burton who lived next door to each other throughout their marriage.
Paul lives in the country, while Andre – a teacher at the Royal Ballet – resides in London during the week.
He says getting married in August hasn’t altered their relationship.
“It’s the same as before. We see each other all the time, we just don’t live together, which for me makes for a perfect relationship because when you’ve had enough, you can say, ‘I’ll see you, I’m off’,” the Scouse star said.

“I’m a bit cranky of a morning. I’m a cobra.
“I don’t get up, I’m exhumed, and I slither down the stairs looking for trouble. But otherwise I’m fine.
Paul moved to rural Aldington, Kent almost 20 years ago and admits it took Andre, 37, a while to adapt to his life there.
“He was terrified of animals when I first met him but now he takes it all in his stride,” he revealed to Kent Online.
“But he’s not like me. I don’t think anyone’s like me.
