They might look like the picture of happiness on the cover of this week’s issue, but Peter Andre and wife Emily are hiding the heart ache of having to see their recently bro son Theo go under the knife.
Five month old Theo has a condition called tongue-tie, which he was diagnosed with two months ago.

For those of you who don’t know, it is a condition where the tongue is attached to the top of the mouth.
To sort it out, it requires an operation which poor Theo underwent six weeks ago.
And although everything seemed to go well, Peter and Ems still find it difficult to talk about and got all emotional in their latest OK! magazine shoot.
“Pete and I were both crying when Theo had his operation. It was really traumatic,” says junior doctor Emily.
“I felt guilty, I should have looked in his mouth and thought about tongue-tie.
“I took him to the clinic and they said it was really severe.”
She also said that the first few months had been tough on her as she had had an awkward time when it came to breastfeeding, which she can link back to the condition.
“The first few months were really hard for me,” she said.
“Sometimes I would be breastfeeding Theo ten times a day… over the first couple of months his weight plummeted, he was suffering with reflux and I had mastitis three times and I was really sick.”
She even said that Pete had had a hard time looking after his son who grew concerned by some of his behaviour when she had left them alone for a while.
“I wrote everything down, like when to change Theo’s nappy, when to feed him and how much, but he rang me at 11am, saying: ‘He’s screaming, I can’t get him to stop!’
“He’d put him down for a sleep when he was supposed to be having a feed.”
However, there’s good news.
Since having the op, things have got a lot easier with Theo.
“His feeding has tripled and he’s sleeping better,” Ems said. “I think I almost had a nervous breakdown before.”

Meanwhile, Emily has a new job!
When she’s not being a junior doctor-type, she will be writing – or dictating as celebs tend to do – a weekly column for OK!.
In it she will talk about being a mum and how to stay fit and healthy.Zzzz!
Sounds good?
Well, we’re not sure how much use it will be to anyone as she admits she hasn’t done any exercise all year, admitting, “I’m so bad… I don’t really enjoy exercise.”
Great, Ems, you’ve sold that column to us, can’t wait to, erm, read it.
