Singer Peter Andre has hailed his two older children Princess and Junior after they make an emotional visit to his unwell mum, who is battling Alzheimer’s.
Peter has been open about his concerns surrounding his mother’s health and flew out to visit her in Australia last month. However, Princess and Junior also later embarked on a trip Down Under to spend time with their grandmother.
Peter Andre gushes over ‘wonderful’ children
In his latest column for OK!, Peter said: “Junior and Princess flew out to see my mum in Australia last week and I love them both so much for doing it.”
He continued: “They’re such beautiful children and it makes me so grateful that they’re out there with her as I write this. I would’ve loved to have gone with them, but I’ve only just got back and I’m working. I love them so much for doing it and I know it’ll make my mum really, really happy.”
On Instagram, a wholesome photo of Junior and Princess was shared during their visit. The pair can be seen interacting with their smiley grandmother while she is sitting down on a sofa chair.
Peter’s 52nd birthday
On Thursday (February 27), Peter will celebrate his 52nd birthday. However, according to the Mysterious Girl hitmaker, age is nothing but a number.
“It’s my birthday this week and I’m turning 52. I’m in good company with Drew Barrymore and Julie Walters – who are both Pisces too – and you know what? I feel great at this age. I really believe age is just a number. I’d even say I feel as good in my fifties as I did in my thirties, that’s for sure.”
