Wife Emily gave birth to their son - the couple's second child together - a fortnight ago

| Updated:

We can all sleep easy again, y’all. Peter Andre has finally named his second-born son – a whole fortnight after the wee one entered the world.

Hallelujah!

Now, we understand that naming a baby is one of the most important decisions you could make in your life, as you could end up bestowing a lifetime of shame on your newborn offspring…

Ahem.

When you are Peter Andre, there is an even bigger responsibility as you know that millions of people out there are going to share their views on your decision.

So we do understand why he and his lovely wife Emily wanted to take time choosing a name for their bubba.

Their daughter Amelia, two, was growing pretty impatient, however, and offered her own suggestion.

Pete revealed on Twitter last week: “Well you asked me what name mills had chosen for the baby and I said weetabix.

“J called our pug porridge so it’s no surprise.”

Awww, out of the mouths of babes and all that!

Thankfully, the two weeks’ thinking time since the tot’s birth had paid off and the Andres have chosen a lovely name.

Pete revealed it on Twitter…

Theo!!! How CUTE! We approve. (We’re sure they’ll all be delighted about THAT.)

The naming of Pete’s fourth child was becoming a little bone of contention in his household, with Emily not too keen on some of her hubby’s choices.

He had initially liked Oscar or Arthur but she wasn’t keen.

After being asked by fans online, Peter revealed a few more ideas in the mix… both Theodore and James were in there.

Peter replied to a fan on Twitter: “Loving so many names James Theo (Theodore) Benjamin. All the other ones I loved the kids don’t like haha.”

Another fan then asked: “How’s the naming situation going @MrPeterAndre?! Any nearer yet? X”

He replied: “Haha what about the president Theodore Roosevelt.”

Well, now it’s all sorted – an official, ‘Welcome to the world, Theodore James Andre!’ from ED!
