Peter Andre has shared an update about his mum as she battles health struggles.
Despite being in a “baby bubble” since welcoming his third child with wife Emily, Peter hasn’t shied away from what else has been going on in his personal life.
The star recently paid tribute to his “beautiful” eldest children Junior and Princess, after they flew out Down Under to visit their poorly grandma.
Now, Peter has shared his thoughts and admitted “things are tough”.

Peter praised Junior and Princess, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, in his recent column for OK!. He said: “I couldn’t be more proud of Junior and Princess, who flew halfway around the world to visit their grandparents last week.

“My mum loves them so much and things are really tough with her health at the moment, so it was incredible to see them making memories together.”

The TV star’s mum suffers from Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. She has reportedly faced a “rapid decline” in recent years.
Peter also described the siblings’ dedication when making a three-hour round trip to visit their newborn sister too. He continued: “I’m glad to see how much family means to them. And my mum was very happy, to say the least.”
In a recent clip shared to his social media, Peter shared a lengthy message about his children, Junior and Princess. The video saw the siblings sat with their grandma in a reclining chair.
Peter wrote: “Junior and princess. The fact that you drove to Somerset to be with us hours before and the days that followed to see the arrival of your baby sister, AND THEN to get on a plane and travel 12,000 miles to be with your grandmother in a very difficult time for her shows me what beautiful children you are.
“I will never forget this moment. Thank you for being truly amazing. Love you all so much. Keep cuddling mum for me please and tell her I love her and we will come out soon.”
Peter Andre welcomes fifth baby
Emily and Peter welcomed their bundle of joy earlier this month. It’s the couple’s third baby together, but Peter’s fifth child. Peter shared the wonderful news to social media, writing: “Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy.
“Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier.
“Only thing is…. She has no name yet. Help!”
Although Peter had admitted that they still haven’t chosen a name for their newborn, his mind is already on the future. He has even hinted at whether the pair would consider a sixth member of the brood.
When asked about expecting another child, Peter quipped to Woman magazine: “No! Please don’t say that. But I said I wouldn’t have a fifth.
“Then again, you never know. But it is up to Emily, isn’t it, not me. But no, I don’t think so.”
