With her marriage on the rocks, her suffering a miscarriage and discovering that her mum has just a few years to live, Katie Price’s life has been devastating of late.
But she is lucky that she does have a few close friends around her to help her through the worst of it.
And one of those figures of support is her ex husband Peter Andre.
Yes, Peter Andre.
Proving that he is a true gent, the Mysterious Girl singer has reportedly reached out to Katie in her time of need to ensure that she is coping well during this very tough period.
A source has told The Sun that he has been a massive support to the former glamour girl.
“Katie and Peter have had their ups and downs over the years after getting divorced but he really pulled through for her during this difficult time.
“He’s been incredibly supportive and understanding about what she is going through.”
The source also said that Pete’s main priority is – you guessed it – his kids and “he has always wanted what is best for them – he knows that being there for Katie will help everyone in the long run.”
The couple met in the jungle in 2005, and enjoyed a reality show packed marriage for six years.
Katie went on to marry Alex Reid then Kieran Hayler, while Peter married Emily.
Meanwhile someone close to Peter has reportedly told Closer magazine that he has told Katie to stop talking about her relationship woes in public and work through her problems behind closed doors.

However, she supposedly thinks that if she doesn’t talk about it in the open then “her career will be dead and buried.”
The source also says that Peter worries about how Harvey might feel if Kieran is no longer around and “fears how Princess and Junior would cope with the upheaval.”
