Peter Andre has addressed the awkward interview he had with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain, when he was questioned about his ex-wife Katie Price live on air.
Earlier this month, Pete refused to answer when Piers quizzed him about Katie branding him a “hypocrite” and accusing him of not allowing their children, Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, to appear on her reality show.
Pete does not usually speak about his former spouse publicly, but he has now defended himself after he was said to appear ‘visibly irked’ over Piers’ probing.
The 46-year-old singer denied he was annoyed at Piers and co-host Susanna Reid after their GMB chat.
He exclaimed in his latest new! magazine column: “I was accused of looking ‘visibly irked’ when questioned by Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain… What?”
He went on to insist that broadcaster Piers, 53, is actually a friend.
The dad-of-four added: “I don’t think I could ever be angry with them.
“Piers is actually a friend and one of the things I love about him is that he’s not afraid to ask questions.”

Pete told Piers he couldn’t answer his questions about his ex-wife.
He said during his live interview: “Piers you should know that I wouldn’t talk about these publicly. Piers, you know me.
“It’s a legal issue so it should never be talked about.”
Katie chose to hit out at Pete during her Good Morning Britain appearance days before.

The 40-year-old, who separated from Pete in 2009, said during her interview with Piers: “So people are going to be watching my show wondering ‘Where is Junior and Princess?’ He won’t allow me to film with them, he won’t allow me to do photo shoots with them and he’s been such a hypocrite.”
