Peter Andre has said he tries to protect his children from news stories and the internet by getting them to focus on other things.
The dad-of-four appeared on Tuesday’s Lorraine and said he works hard to make sure his eldest kids – son Junior, 13, and daughter Princess, 11, – avoid seeing headlines about their mum, his ex-wife Katie Price.
Peter, 45, told host Lorraine Kelly that he tries to limit his kids’ internet usage because it can be a “scary place”.

Lorraine asked Peter: “There’s been loads of headlines, there always is, about their mum. How do you protect them from that?”
Peter replied: “Obviously when it comes to kids and newspapers and the internet, I try my best to avoid them. Because there’s lots of stories about lots of different things.
“It’s just trying to get them to concentrate on other things because I think the internet is a bit of a scary place in general.
“You find good news and you can find bad news all in the same hour.”
Peter’s ex-wife Katie has been making headlines over the past few weeks because of her financial situation, splitting from her toyboy boyfriend Kris Boyson and being pictured kissing another man in Majorca.
She also made headlines earlier this year after dumping her third husband Kieran Hayler following allegations he cheated on her again.
Meanwhile, Peter – who is also a dad to daughter Amelia, four, and son Theo, one, – opened up about whether his kids will following in his showbiz footsteps.
He said: “It’s really, really good. Because they’ve just done their LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) exams.
“They both went for it and they both got a distinction and I’m so proud of them because they were in the garden practicising over and over again. They both did great, so I’m really proud.”
Peter said he “gets offers all the time” for Junior to kick start his showbiz career, but he wants his son to “concentrate on school”.
The doting dad added: “I got offered a recording deal at 16. I get offers all the time for Junior especially, and I just say, ‘Look there’s time.’
“I just want him to concentrate on school. The longer it takes for him to get what he wants to do, the better he’s going to become at his craft anyway.
“I’m trying. I don’t know how much control I’m going to have, but at the moment it’s working OK.”

When asked if he’d like to have more children, Peter said: “You do realise I think, after changing many nappies, you do start to go, ‘I’m not sure anymore.’
“I’m 45, I reckon I’ve still got a couple of years left in me but I’m not sure.”
