Peter Andre shares plans for Theo’s themed first birthday party

The singer's youngest is turning one in a few days

Peter Andre’s little boy Theo is set to celebrate his first birthday on Wednesday November 22, and the preparations for the tot’s big day are in full swing.

Posting a picture to his Instagram page, Peter shared that his youngest is obviously a BIG fan of Thomas the Tank Engine, given that his celebrations seemed to be themed around it!

The set up for party time features a Thomas the Tank cake with Theo’s name on it, a Thomas ball pit, which Pete’s daughter, Amelia, was playing in, plus all sorts of other Thomas themed fun.

Like we said, he’s clearly a huge fan!

Peter captioned the image: “Prep underway for little Theo.”

Fans were quick to respond with well-wishes for the lad: “Oh that’s so so exciting!!!” said one.

“Happy 1st birthday 🎈 Theo have a great day little man,” said another.

Someone else added: “No way is he 1 already????”

“Love this,” added a fourth, while a fifth wrote: “Happy 1st birthday Theo.”

Peter tries to keep his kids with wife Emily MacDonagh away from the spotlight, only sharing images on social media of their backs, never their faces.

He also has two children with ex-wife Katie Price, Junior, 12, and Princess, 10 and has recently opened up about his fears for them over cyber bullying.

Speaking to The Mirror, as part of their Light Up Christmas For Children campaign, which is raising money for Childline – the NSPCC ’s counselling service, the dad-of-four spoke out about his concerns.

The singer spoke about the psychological trauma he faced as a child, and his determination to protect his own children.

“The bullying I went through wasn’t like someone calling you names,” he said. “I was beaten up pretty bad.”

Peter talked about how important it is to him to keep his own children safe from the kind of trauma he dealt with.

“I don’t let Princess or Junior go on social media or things like that yet.

“I worry about cyber bullying – all these things kids are going through, worrying about what they look like, worrying about what someone is saying about them.”

He also opened up about how important it is for children to feel they have a support network, claiming he was never able to open up to anyone about what he was going through.

His comments come as part of Childline’s push for donations ahead of the Christmas season, which can see a dramatic rise in demand from children who are dealing with bullying and mental health issues, such as depression and the urge to self harm.

Over the holidays a child calls the helpline roughly every 25 seconds, and they depend on donations to keep up with the high demand.
