Peter Andre is a reality show veteran, having appeared on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Strictly Come Dancing, as well as his own fly-on-the-wall reality shows.
But, still, we did not see this one coming.
The singer has revealed that he’s appearing on an episode of BBC’s Antique Road Trip!
He took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a grainy picture of himself on set, writing: “Filming today for bbc2 @antiqueroadtrip”.
Over on the Antique’s Road Trip official Instagram page, there were a few much better, behind the scenes pictures.
In one hilarious shot alongside presenter Paul Laidlaw, Pete wore a big furry black hat.
Beside the picture, the caption read: “@peterandre and Paul Laidlaw trying to blend in with their surroundings”.
In another photo, Pete, 45, posed in front of vintage cars alongside comedian Joe Pasquale, who appears with the Mysterious Girl icon on the celebrity version of the BBC2 show.
The caption read: “It’s glorious in Sittingbourne this morning as Peter Andre and Joe Pasquale join Paul and Catherine for their final shopping day. We have no idea what they will buy…some might say it’s mysterious! @peterandre @catherinesouthonauctions”.
Despite the slightly odd choice of reality show for the TV star, his 861k followers seemed excited.
One wrote: “Looking rather gorgeous Peter…😍😍”.
Another added: “Wow when is it going to be on tv cant wait xx”.

The news comes after Pete’s wife of three years, Emily MacDonagh opened up about their marriage and how they keep their romance blossoming.
The junior doctor tied the knot with Pete in 2015 and the couple have two children together.
Writing in her latest OK! Magazine column, Emily said their relationship works because they “enjoy the same things” like cooking.
Speaking about her relationship with Pete, Emily said: “Me and Pete rarely get to spend time just the two of us, so if we can get some time off we try and be together.”
Emily, 28, said she thinks there are “lots of things” that make a marriage work, not just “one rule”.
She continued: “We enjoy a lot of the same things and have a lot in common.
“We’re always trying new recipes and, after a long day at work, I love coming home and being able to cook together.”

We can’t wait! It might not be the kind of thing we’re used to Pete doing, but – let’s face it – we’d watch him watching paint dry.
