This Morning host Phillip Schofield was rehearsing a segment on Christmas gadgets when he decided to test out the Neon Hoverkart and lost control, much to the amusement of his co-presenter Holly Willoughby.
Speaking on This Morning, he introduced footage of him on the Hoverkart in rehearsals. “Well you can imagine, when he brought this in first thing this morning, I just couldn’t resist,” he said, as he sat alongside gadgets expert Steve Wilson.
Viewers then saw footage of Phillip racing around the set.
“Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God” he exclaimed as he sped around the studio. “This is the best!”
He then lost control and crashed into a cupboard.
“I’ve taken a little bit of a veneer off!” laughed Phillip as he held up a piece of a cabinet that he’d crashed into.
“You love it though,” replied Holly as she struggled to contain her laughter.
The three-wheeled Hoverkart is a hover board that turns into a go-kart and costs £99.95

Holly, Phil and Steve also looked at other gadgets including the StylPro Make-up Brush Cleaner and drier, £50, which was designed by former Apprentice winner Tom Pellereau.
Some viewers were unhappy at the high cost of these “must-have” items.
“Providing debt advice for people struggling with credit cards followed by the must-have Christmas gadgets. Well done #ThisMorning,” wrote one viewer.
Another added: “THE POOR KIDS CAN’T BUY YOUR OVER PRICED GADGETS ON THIS MORNING [sic].”
The cheapest item they demonstrated was a Polaroid 3D pen, which costs £29.99.
