If anyone knows how to celebrate in style, it’s This Morning presenter, Holly Willoughby – with the help of a rainbow cake that took around 28 hours to make and includes 50kg of ingredients!
Phillip Schofield took to his Snapchat to share behind-the-scenes secrets and footage of the party, two days ahead of his co-host turning 37 on Saturday.
“It’s Holly’s birthday on Saturday, so we’re having a bit of a celebration,” Phil, 55, told his followers, as he panned his phone camera across a huge buffet table, full of food.
The main attraction was the incredible cake, full of sweets and marshmallows.
Phil said: “Here’s her birthday cake,” before asking the baker, Juliet Sear, to reveal how long it had taken to make.
She told him: “I worked 16 hours, and then the next day another half a day.
“There’s 10kgs of butter, the whole thing is over 50 kilos of stuff! I think it’s my favourite cake I’ve made so far.”
The backstage party also included Love Island star Kem Cetinay and MasterChef judge John Torode, who both seemed amazed by the incredible cake.

Juliet also shared a video to Instagram showing the moment just before she and Kem arrived on set to surprise Holly with her cake and balloons.
And another clip posted to This Morning’s official Twitter account showed just how Juliet made the masterpiece.

Phil wondered on camera: “How is [Holly] going to get a giant cake and balloons home?”
Mum of three, Holly explained: “I can’t, I’m on my bike!” Holding the helium balloons, she then added: “Oh, I can fly home like in [the film] Up, I just need more balloons!”

The This Morning team were celebrating early with their presenter, as she’ll be marking the big day on Saturday with her husband, Dan Baldwin and their three children, Harry, Belle and Chester.
She’s then due back on our screens, live on Sunday to present Dancing on Ice.
Phil’s backstage footage followed an on-air surprise for Holly during Thursday’s ITV show.
As Holly and Phil wrapped up the episode with a steak masterclass, Phil gestured to someone off camera.
He then told viewers: “This is where, obviously, we would normally wrap up the show. Someone has a birthday this weekend so we’re a bit early.”
As Holly thanked everyone, and cut into her handmade treat, she said: “That cake is the most incredible cake. It looks like it’s been made by unicorns!
“Oh my gosh, it’s full of sweets! And champagne! This is the best day ever!”
Happy birthday Holly!
