Phillip Schofield will co-host ITV’s coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May.
The This Morning favourite, 56, will join ITV News at Ten’s Julie Etchingham, 48, in fronting the channel’s extensive coverage of the royal wedding on Saturday, May 19.
Phil said: “So happy to be back with Julie, my royal wedding partner (we don’t get to work together very often!) and the brilliant team at ITV News.
“Put your hat on, we’re going to have a party!”

Julie added: “I’m delighted to be working on the royal wedding – and teaming up again with Phillip, just as we did in 2011 and for the Diamond Jubilee.
“It’ll be a day of big celebrations not only in Windsor but around the country – and it’ll be huge fun capturing the spirit of a great British occasion.”
Phillip and Julie will anchor Harry and Meghan – The Royal Wedding from 9.25am until 3pm, broadcasting from a specially constructed studio on The Long Walk in Windsor.
The royal couple will tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle at midday, followed by a carriage procession through the streets of Windsor before they retreat from the cameras to enjoy their afternoon reception.
A later evening reception will also be held, again not televised.
Phillip and Julie will welcome a string of guests to their studio during the day including friends of the royal family and experts, to dissect all the guests, fashion and, of course, what Meghan wears!
Other reporters will also be on hand during the day including Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins, who will be with the crowds in Windsor to get all the latest reaction to the wedding.
Reporter Mary Nightingale will be stationed at Windsor Castle to catch all the guests as they arrive, while Rageh Omaar will be Lesotho to join the Sentebale charity (founded by Harry) for traditional wedding day celebrations.
James Mates will lead live commentary of the service from inside St George’s Chapel. Elsewhere, ITV News’s Royal Editor Chris Ship will be popping up throughout the day to offer his expertise.
How exciting!

ITV has also announced other programmes that will air ahead of the wedding including Royal Wives of Windsor, a documentary series about the women who have married into the royal family including Kate Middleton and Princess Diana.
Another documentary, Prince Harry’s Story: Four Royal Weddings, will also air, described as a look at Harry’s life from childhood to the present day.
