Phillip Schofield is spending his This Morning break in the Maldives with his family.
The telly favourite, who celebrates his 56th birthday on Sunday, April 1, has escaped the dreary weather back home to bask in the sunshine of the tropics.
Yeah. We’re not jealous at all…
Phillip flew to the Maldives on Friday with wife Stephanie and their two daughters Molly and Ruby.
As well as enjoying an Easter holiday, it’s also a birthday trip for Phil and a lovely Silver Wedding Anniversary treat, as he and Stephanie celebrated 25 years of marriage last Thursday.
Phillip has shared some tantalising photos to Snapchat showing the gorgeous scenery, tagging one picturesque photo of the ocean with the caption: “Currently my favourite colours are blue and green.”
He’s also been biking around the islands – albeit with a slightly misspelled name tag on his bike!
The TV star marked his birthday with a special lunch at an underwater restaurant, which was only accessible via boat. Lucky for some!
While Phil is away, fans have been inundating him with happy birthday messages on Twitter.
To be fair, we’d probably have a pretty great birthday if we were spending it in the Maldives, too, right?
Phil can enjoy a nice long break as he and This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby aren’t due back on screen for another week.
Their last day at work was on Thursday, with Rylan Clark-Neal and Emma Willis taking over This Morning when it returns to screens on Tuesday.
When Phil and Holly do return to work, it will be at a different studio.
ITV’s London Studios on the South Bank, where shows like This Morning, Good Morning Britain and Lorraine are filmed, are being renovated, which means everyone is moving to a new studio.
Holly and Phil spoke about how much they’ll miss the old studio while they’re away, pointing out they both have so many memories from the building.
Phil told viewers: “This is a very special show, mine and Holly’s last one for a while now at our home on the South Bank.”

Holly added: “But don’t panic as Phil and I aren’t going anywhere. We’re just moving studios temporarily when builders are in. It will be business as usual on screen and we’re even taking this view with us, you won’t even notice!”
