Good Morning Britain hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were close to tears after announcing the heartbreaking news that teenager Olivia Campbell was killed in the Manchester bombing Monday evening.
Olivia’s mum, Charlotte Campbell, had appeared on the ITV show on Tuesday in a desperate plea to find her missing daughter, who was at the concert on the night.
Speaking via phone to the hosts, Charlotte said: “If anyone sees Olivia, lend her your phone, she knows my number.”

On the show today Piers, 52, broke the tragic news on Wednesday that Olivia has been confirmed as one of the 22 victims as he said: “This is very sad, we were all yesterday incredibly moved by Charlotte Campbell, the mum who couldn’t find her little girl, 15.
“All day we were hoping and praying that she might turn up. Charlotte put a message out today, ‘RIP my beautiful princess Olivia, gone far too soon. Never will you be forgotten. I love you.’
“It’s incredibly sad.”
Struggling to hold back tears Susanna, 46, added: “Many of you got in touch yesterday to ask for an update about Olivia and we really hoped to bring you good news.
“But unfortunately Charlotte has confirmed that she was killed in the Manchester Arena attack.”
Piers continued: “All our thoughts and prayers are with you, Charlotte, today.
“Couldn’t think of anything worse.”

The attack took place during an Ariana Grande concert on Monday evening leaving 22 people dead and 119 injured.
Saffie Roussos, eight, Ariana super-fan Georgina Callander, 18, and Martyn Hett, 29, were all killed in the blast.
Famous faces across the world have paid their tributes for the victims and their families.
Presenting his US talk show James Corden said: “It shocks me every time we hear this sort of news that attacks like this can happen, but especially when there will be so many children at this concert tonight.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the everyone in Manchester tonight.”
One Direction star Harry Styles wrote on his Twitter: “I’m heartbroken over what happened in Manchester tonight. Sending love to everyone involved. H.”
Peter Andre also wrote: “So so shocked to hear about Manchester. Beyond belief. Our Thoughts with the victims and their families. Very sad day today.”
US singer Ariana has also spoke about about the attack as she expressed her heartbreak over the news.
She wrote on Twitter: “Broken. From the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.”
The star has now reportedly offered to pay for the victims’ funerals.
A fan website called Ariana Updates has shared a post saying: “News on Ariana: Ariana has reached out to the families whose loved ones died last night….she is gonna pay for the funerals!”
The 23-year-old has also suspended her tour and has flown back to her home in Florida.
