Piers and Dec’s playful friendship
It’s not the first time Piers has poked fun at the Geordie in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, the GMB star pleaded with fans to vote for him in an awards category so he can wipe the “smug grin” off “snivelling” Dec.
Piers revealed that he had been nominated in the Favourite Presenter category in the forthcoming TV Times Awards.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “Delighted to have been nominated as Favourite Presenter in the @tvtimesmagazine Awards.

“Vote for me if only to wipe the smug grin off those two cocky, snivelling little Geordie [bleep].”
Meanwhile, back in March, Piers hit out at Ant and Dec after they mocked him during an episode of Saturday Night Takeaway.
He said: “The disrespect… we’re one big happy ITV family aren’t we?”
GMB co-host Susanna Reid added: “We love and respect each other,” to which Piers said: “We do, we do honestly, if you believe that you’ll believe anything.”
