Piers Morgan usually pokes fun at Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain, but on Monday’s show he was slightly more complimentary of his co-star.
The presenter, 53, called Susanna “hot” after she revealed she has lost a stone in weight since giving up alcohol for a month.
The duo were comparing their “double chins” using a hand-held camera to zoom in on their faces.

Reading out some reactions from viewers watching from home, Piers said: “We’ve got a reaction to Susanna’s revelation that she is on a dry September.
“Judy in Richmond says Susanna Reid looks like she’s lost four pounds,” before correcting the viewer, adding: “It’s actually 12 pounds, since she stopped drinking.”
Susanna, 47, then mouthed to the camera that she has actually lost 14 pounds.
Piers asked Susanna: “How much have you lost now?” to which she replied: “A stone.”
Clearly stunned by Susanna’s achievement, Piers said: “Oh blimey!”
Reading another viewer’s comment, Piers continued: “Maybe Piers Morgan should take note, that double chin won’t magically shift.”
Hitting back, he said: “Woman like a bit of meat on the bone.”
Susanna then moved the hand-held camera towards Piers’ face, as she said: “That is true.. on the dating apps people put you down as their ideal man.”
Moving the camera towards her own face, Susanna added: “You don’t get rid of your double chin just because [you’ve lost weight], there’s still a bit of fat there.”
Piers joked: “Are you fat-shaming me?” to which Susanna replied: “No, I’m fat-shaming myself!”
Piers then replied: “You’re looking quite hot, I think.”
Susanna responded: “Thanks… Well it is quite hot in here.”
Last week, Susanna revealed she had ditched booze this month.
Following her appearance at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, Susanna was pictured looking fresh-faced while wearing a vibrant red dress.

Despite leaving the event late in the evening, Susanna still managed to get up at 4am to host GMB at 6am.
When co-star Kate Garraway asked Susanna how she was feeling this morning, Susanna replied: “I am sober for September, is that a thing?
“I’ve decided no alcohol for the entire month.”
She then joked: “I decided that last night.”
