Piers Morgan has expressed his dismay over Prince Harry urging Americans to vote.

Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle, 39, released a video in which they encouraged US citizens to vote this year.

Why is Piers Morgan so angry with Prince Harry?

Addressing his 7.6 million Twitter followers, Piers tweeted: “Prince Harry poking his woke nose into the US election & effectively telling Americans to vote against President Trump is completely unacceptable behaviour for a member of the Royal Family.”

This led to a flurry of Twitter users sharing their disapproval for Piers’ sentiments.

However, he defiantly hit back at several of his Twitter critics as well.

One user replied: “He’s not an active member of the royal family anymore Piers, he can do what he wants.”

What did Prince Harry say in the video?

Only for Piers to rebuke: “He’s still the Duke of Sussex last time I checked.”

In the Sussex’s video, Harry and Meghan discuss the upcoming election.

Sitting on a garden bench, their wording strongly suggests they are not fans of President Donald Trump.

Have Meghan and Prince Harry crossed the line?

Prince Harry says: “This election I am not able to vote in the US.

“But many of you may not know that I haven’t been able to vote in the UK my entire life. As we approach this November, it’s vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation and online negativity.”

Whereas Meghan says: “We’re just six weeks out from election day and today is National Voter Registration Day. Every four years we are told the same thing, that this is the most important election of our lifetime. But this one is.

“When we vote, our values are put into action and our voices are heard. Your voice is a reminder that you matter, because you do and you deserve to be heard.”

Piers continued his rant against Meghan and Harry in his Daily Mail column.

Here he branded them as having ‘crossed a massive line’.

He writes: “By expressing themselves in such a brazenly partisan manner, they’ve crossed a massive line which should now have serious consequences for the couple who specialise in wanting to their royal cake freedom to eat it.”

Piers urged The Queen to strip both Harry and Meghan of their royal titles.
