Piers Morgan could soon find himself £1 million richer if he manages to stay away from Twitter for an entire year.
E-commerce platform HushHush.com has revealed a new drive to give Twitter users a 12-month break from Piers’ often controversial posts.

The website is promising to hand the Good Morning Britain presenter seven figures if he’s able to abstain from tweeting for a year.
Explaining the motives behind the campaign, HushHush pointed to the tweet pinned at the top of Piers’ Twitter profile.
His 2019 resolution, he said, is to be “just as annoying, argumentative & insufferably right about everything as I’ve been in 2018”.
He added: “Zero apologies in advance to all whiny PC-crazed snowflake imbeciles who will be horrifically offended by absolutely everything I say or write.”

But the people at HushHush have said they’re ready to do whatever it takes to stop Piers in his tracks.
In a statement on the campaign page, the website wrote: “Piers, we, and many others, loathe your belief that you are always right.
“Our offer to you Piers, should you choose to accept it (and we hope you will), is £1 million, to you or a charity of your choice, in exchange for you to come off Twitter for a full year, thereby making it a happier place.”
Under the terms of the agreement, the GMB host must sign a contract stating that he will not post messages of any kind on Twitter, whether publicly or privately, between March 18 2019 and March 18 next year.
Some would probably like the contract to remove Piers from his Good Morning Britain job too.
He recently took a break from hosting the show alongside Susanna Reid, and a number of viewers called for their stand-ins, Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard, to replace the pair permanently.
The £1 million prize, HushHush said, will only be transferred to Piers upon completion of the Twitter challenge.
The website’s own analysis of social media sentiment towards him discovered that, of all the posts about Piers, 50% are negative, 40% neutral and just 10% positive.

Whatever your thoughts are, it can’t be denied he’s never far from controversy.
He recently found himself at the centre of yet another Twitter storm, following his critical comments about James Bond actor Daniel Craig’s decision to carry his baby in a sling.
Twitter users called him out for his harsh words, and Piers was forced to defend his own parenting skills.
