The host was angry after his ear pierce wasn't working

Piers Morgan has slammed Good Morning Britain’s production team after technical difficulties.

The TV presenter was angered after his ear piece failed to work right before he was about to start a breaking news segment.

Piers, 52, appeared back on everybody’s screens, only to not realise he was live.

Footage of a terror attack in North London was showing on screen, but all we could hear was his moaning.

“I still can’t hear anyone in my bloody ear, I don’t know what is going on with this”, he is heard saying.

Then blasted the production team, adding: “It’s been like that for a week now.”

To make matters worse, he just carried on: “Is someone talking? I’m not hearing anyone!”

As the credits were finishing during the start of the show, Piers started reading before the camera went to him, and the music was still playing.

His co-host Susanna Reid was also seen slipping back to her seat when the cameras were still rolling.

What a start to the week.

Viewers couldn’t help but share their shock at what they had seen and heard.

One Twitter user said: “I think someone needs to sort out @piersmorgan ear piece ‘it’s been over a bloody week’  #GMBfail #GMB.”

Another found it hilarious.

Many found it uncomfortable due to the nature of the news segment, as a terror attack at Finsbury Park in North London had just been announced.

One said: “@GMB not impressed to hear @piersmorgan swearing about technical issues over footage of the mosque attack.”

One viewer at home said it was “uncomfortable viewing”.

Piers then went on to interview Michael Gove, the environment minister after the devastating incident at Grenfell Tower.

He grilled the Conservative MP over why some victims were only being given £500 after the fire ruined their home and killed their families and friends. He also asked why so many victims were being re-housed as far as Birmingham and Manchester.

“Can I ask you Michael, if you’d lost your home, if it’d been burnt to the ground with every possession you had and I said, ‘Here’s £500 and we’re going to move you and your family to Birmingham or to Manchester or further north, take it or leave it,’ you’d be outraged, wouldn’t you?”

Michael slammed Piers’ handling of the questioning, so Piers replied: “You can stick your coolness where the sun don’t shine. I don’t give a damn what you say.”

“Why did you ask me to come on your show then?” Gove childishly responded.

More Twitter users shared their shock at what was happening.

Piers certainly wasn’t in the mood this morning.
