Piers Morgan unleashes fury after son’s devastating loss

He's issued a plea to anyone in West London

Piers Morgan is absolutely livid after thieves smashed up his son’s car and stole two years’ worth of his work in the process.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 52, channelled his inner Liam Neeson in Taken when he took to Twitter to vent his sheer fury at the senseless crime.

Piers said the incident happened at a petrol station in West London.

While he was livid at his son’s car being damaged, he was particularly concerned by the fact 20-year-old Spencer had lost two years’ worth of work.

He urged anyone who found a black rucksack containing documentation to get in touch, as it was worthless to a thief but of “enormous value” to Stanley.

Piers tweeted: “To the 2 scumbags on a motorbike who just steamed my middle son’s car at a West London M&S garage, smashed it up & stole his bag containing 2yrs of study work… I will find you. Consider it a promise not a threat. #cctv

“In the meantime if anyone finds a black Eastpak rucksack discarded near the M&S garage on Talgarth Road, I will reward you handsomely.

“No value to a thief, enormous value to my son.”

Fans were quick to condemn the crime, sharing their horror at Stanley’s loss  – and urging the student to keep back-up copies of his work.

One wrote: “I can relate and I know that the loss of two years’ of study work is probably the WORST part of this crime. My sympathies to your son and after having this happen more than once, best to invest in an external hard drive and USB stick.”

Another said she had been mugged and had her phone stolen, which contained her lecture recordings and noted.

“It massively impacted my revision and studies,” she said. “Hope he gets it back. Notes are priceless.”

Other fans shared similar sentiments in response to Piers’ posts.

Here’s hoping someone find’s Stanley’s bag.

Piers has three sons – Spencer, Stanley and Albert – and one daughter, Elise.
