The One Show host Alex Jones has opened up about feeling “emotional” as her son turns two.
She has confessed to feeling teary as she watches their young son Teddy grow up so quickly.
She posted on Instagram: “Our little boy is 2 and I’m an emotional wreck!
“It’s amazing to see him grow and turn into a little boy but a big part of me wants to stop time marching on and hold him close forever. Happy birthday Teddy 💙 Penblwydd hapus cariad bach.”
The 41-year-old shared the exciting news she is expecting with fans on The One Show last month, where she announced that her bump wasn’t because of “mince pies”!
She also opened up about finding it harder to fall pregnant second time around.

She confessed: “I have to say, the first time – absolutely fine. Luckily, God, it happened.
“But second time, not as easy. I suppose I’m older now, but we took it for granted that it would be OK.
“But you don’t really know until you start trying how it’s going to go, do you?
“The majority of couples I know have had something, not always IVF, but some problem that needs to be sorted out.
“Hardly anyone’s story is straightforward, and it’s not really talked about that much.”
The mum-of-one recently celebrated her three year anniversary with New Zealand native Charlie. The pair married at Cardiff Castle on 31 December in 2015.

Alex shared a sweet snap of their romantic trip away earlier this month and wrote: “Celebrating three years of marriage with some much needed R&R and long country walks.
“A rare weekend of just the two of us….remembering why we made those vows to each other ❤️.”
