Pregnant Giovanna Fletcher has revealed she was blindsided by a rather blunt question from one of her two young children.
The best-selling author, who is pregnant with her third child, recounted the funny incident on Instagram, alongside a photo of her pulling a worried face.
She wrote: “‘So mummy, how’d the baby get IN your tummy?’ Oh gosh… I said something about Daddy putting a seed in there… he then went off in a world of his own about a button being pushed and the baby flying there.”

She added: “He was so adamant that I couldn’t correct him.”

Giovanna then asked for her followers’ advice and tips, saying: “What have you told your little ones about how babies get in tummies?
“I feel I should’ve been more prepared for that one.”
She was inundated with replies, with many followers saying they’d also struggled with just how to answer such a wide-ranging question.
One admitted: “My 5 year old asked the other day and I brushed it off 🙈🙈 not ready for that question!”
Another said: “I’m due similar time and thankfully my 4 year-old hasn’t asked 😂😂 I better get prepared now.”
One fan, meanwhile, told Giovanna: “I struggled more with the ‘how does it get out’ question!”
Meanwhile, fellow celebrity mum Jacqueline Jossa also left a comment; she’s mum to daughter Ella, three, and currently pregnant with her second child.
She told Giovanna: “Luckily Ella hasn’t asked!! Goodness me! I think I’ll just go with magic!”
Giovanna and her McFly musician husband Tom Fletcher have two sons: Buzz, four, and two-year-old Buddy.
They’ve said they won’t find out their third child’s sex ahead of the birth.
Meanwhile, Giovanna joined Tom earlier this week for a very special outing – to Buckingham Palace!
Tom was invited to be a guest presenter at a Duke of Edinburgh’s Award reception, and posed for a photo with Giovanna in the palace grounds.
She said: “This morning I was Tom’s plus one for a trip to Buckingham Palace, where he was part of congratulating those who’ve achieved their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.
“I had coffee in a fancy cup and saucer, along with a very delicate chocolate chip biscuit… I’m happy! 😂❤ Congratulations to those who’ve worked incredibly hard to win get their awards!”
