Jacqueline Jossa is expecting her second child in the next few weeks and the pregnant star has admitted her daughter is excited – and a little bit confused – about the arrival of her new sibling.
Talking to her fans via Instagram Stories, the former EastEnders actress admitted three-year-old Ella is struggling to understand why they don’t know exactly when the baby will be here.
“I do think it’s funny how kids just don’t understand it. Every morning she says to me, ‘Mummy, is the baby coming out today?'” Jacqueline giggled.
She added that taking Ella to see a friend’s newborn later in the day was likely to confuse the little girl even further.
“I feel like when she sees the baby today, she’ll be confused and think, ‘oh, this is my baby, let’s take it home.’ I am so intrigued to see how she is going to take it all,” she said.
“I try to explain to her, ‘we don’t know when the baby is coming but it is very soon.’ She’s just too excited which is lovely. It would be worse if she was dreading it.”
The 25-year-old also warned her followers not to get overexcited if she shares a picture of a baby later today.
“If I post a picture today of a baby, this baby is not my baby. My baby is still in my tummy. OK guys, everyone calm,” she said.
Jacqueline added that she’s not at all ready for her little one to arrive just yet as she still has to sort their room.
She revealed she will be having a baby shower this weekend, where she joked she hoped her friends and family will be “feeling generous” as she hasn’t bought anything for the newborn yet.

The actress said she is excited about her second baby coming but she also posted an image saying she’d miss having her bump.
Jacqueline’s pregnancy has come at a difficult time in her relationship with husband Dan Osborne, who was reported to have moved out of their home following a series of rows.
She has asked for them to be given privacy as they try to work through their problems, saying she doesn’t need any stress in the final stages of her pregnancy.

She recently told The Mirror: “These things happen. Marriages have ups and downs and mine’s no different. He’ll be at the birth, of course. He’s an amazing dad.”
The parents have found out what they are having but are keeping it a secret until he or she arrives.
