Vogue Williams has a baby bump and she’s not ashamed to show it! The nearly-eight-month pregnant star has vowed to keep on wearing crop tops regardless of what anyone else thinks of how she looks.
Speaking out defiantly on Instagram alongside a picture of her in said garment cradling her bump, she wrote: “I always wondered how my wardrobe would change when pregnant. One thing I won’t change is crop tops while training.
“I find it comfortable and I don’t have a T-shirt leaving half my bump out all the time. I’ve embraced the preggo tum, I love it in fact.”
She added: “I haven’t been told what to wear since the age of seven until just recently. To those who have a problem seeing a bump on display, get in the sea! If I feel like I want to wear a Borat swimsuit I will, the crop tops are staying.”
The picture gained more than 22 thousand likes and hundreds of comments as her fans rushed to tell her to ignore the haters.
“Keep doing you hun you look bomb,” wrote one.
“Beautiful lady! As if people are saying to hide that gorgeous bump,” said another.
“They only wish they looked as good as you!” a third told her.
A fourth added: “How can people dare tell you what to wear!!! You’re the one that’s pregnant and needs to feel comfortable especially in this heat!!!”
Vogue is expecting her first baby in early September with Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews, who she married in an intimate ceremony in Scotland last month.
The model has continued to workout throughout her pregnancy, which has led many people to criticise her actions – even though moderate exercise is recommended to expectant mums by the NHS.
During a recent appearance on ITV’s Lorraine, Vogue said: “A lot of people are against pregnant women working out, I’ve found, which is bizarre. I feel fit and healthy and I want to stay fit and healthy. Obviously you put on weight, I’ve put on quite a good bit of weight but that’s what I’m supposed to do, but I’m happy doing it.”
Not only that, Vogue has also had to contend with people who have fat-shamed her because she’s pregnant.
But she was able to laugh off such mean remarks, writing on Twitter at the time: “I actually just have to laugh at the people fat shaming me. I’m seven months PREGNANT, the online world is a nasty little place.
“Myself and my larger body are very happy and look forward to getting even bigger.”
