The Christmas cards released by the royals are usually a formal affair, but the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have surprised everyone with their dressed-down version.
This year’s stunning portrait captures William and Kate, both 36, in a more casual light.
The picture shows them dressed in jeans along with their adorable children, Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and seven-month-old Prince Louis.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family.

The laid-back picture is a hit with royal fans.
One tweeted: “That’s such a great relaxed photo. Such a beautiful family”, while a second added: “What a natural, beautiful, family photo.”
Another commented: “How great to see Prince George in jeans and wellies instead of short trousers all the time. Lovely picture”.

The photograph will feature on the Royal Highnesses’ Christmas card and was taken by photographer Matt Porteous, who also took photos at Louis’ Christening earlier this year.
The family posed for the shot in the grounds of their beautiful country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.

Christmas will be a traditional celebration for William, Kate and their children, who will be based at Anmer Hall during the festive period.
The family are expected to visit Buckingham Palace next week to attend the Queen’s pre-Christmas lunch, which takes place annually.
They will then spend Christmas day with her Majesty at Sandringham Estate, along with Prince Harry, 34, Meghan, 37, and the Queen’s children and grandchildren.
They will also attend the traditional service at St Mary’s Magdalene Church on the special day.

No doubt this Christmas will be extra special for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as Meghan is expecting their first child next year.
It’s been reported that Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland has also been invited to join the royal festivities, according to a Sunday Express source.
