Former Hollyoaks actress Rachel Shenton brought This Morning onto the stage as she accepted her Oscar on Sunday night.
The ex soap star – who played Mitzee Minniver on Hollyoaks -and fiancé Chris Overton, who played Chester’s Liam McAllister, won the Best Live Action Short gong for The Silent Child at Academy Awards.
Unknown to millions of viewers around the world, they actually paid tribute to This Morning’s support of the film by wearing the programme’s logo sewn into their clothing.
Rachel had the logo woven into the fabric of her dress (obviously the side against her skin and not visible to the cameras!) while Chris had the logo stitched on the inside of his suit jacket.

The elated couple appeared on Monday’s This Morning via video link from LA.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield revealed how This Morning had helped style the couple for the red carpet, which is how the logos ended up in their clothing.
Obviously Rachel couldn’t really show her logo on camera, but Chris happily flashed the inside of his jacket, much to the delight of Holly and Phil!
This Morning arranged for Rachel and Chris to meet designer Suzanne Neville, who was recommended by Holly.
Suzanne stitched a This Morning label into the stunning black dress she made for Rachel.
This Morning’s wardrobe team then ensured a matching label was inside Chris’ jacket.
Holly said: “You let us be part of your styling team, which we were very honoured to be. You took us with you. We were so happy, I can’t tell you!”
Rachel won praise from Oscars viewers for signing her acceptance speech, saying: “I made a promise to our six-year-old lead actress that I’d sign this speech.
“My hands are shaking so I apologise. Our movie is about a deaf child being born into a world of silence.
“It’s not exaggerated or sensationalised for the movie, this is happening, millions of children all over the world live in silence and face communication barriers and particularly access to education.
“Deafness is a silent disability, I want to say the biggest of thank yous to the Academy for allowing us to put this in front of a mainstream audience.”
Rachel told Holly and Phil that she knew where the lead actress, Maisie Sly, was sitting, but because she wasn’t wearing her glasses, everyone in the audience was a “bit blobby”.
But she joked: “It probably helped with my nerves!”
Rachel and Chris revealed they’d gone to one party after the ceremony and done a few interviews, but then left to get a burger and go back to their flat to meet up with the film’s crew.
They both said the win hasn’t sunk in yet.
Unfortunately for the duo, they managed to miss out on the legendary Oscars goodie bag after skipping out of the party early. ROOKIE MISTAKE!
Phil reminded them the bags were worth thousands of pounds, prompting Chris to say: “Don’t say that!”
“I don’t know how we did this,” said Rachel. “We left with the Oscars – crazy! – and were in a bit of a whirlwind. We met our parents, met Maisie, made sure they were okay, then we went to the Governor’s Ball to get the Oscars engraved. Then we left and it was only when we got to the flat we realised we never got the goodie bag!”
The couple said they’re hopeful their Oscar success will open more doors for them, but more than anything they want to raise awareness for the deaf community.
Rachel said they’d love to make The Silent Child into “either a feature film or longer drama”, adding: “Hopefully it will help for that. It’s a pretty decent proof of concept!”

They are staying in LA until Thursday then flying back to UK for some much needed time out!
As for what they’ll do with the Oscars, they had no idea, with Chris suggesting maybe they’d just put them on a bookcase.
Holly, however, had a better idea: his and her’s bedside table lamps!
Er, okay then…
