With so much hate and anger on Albert Square it comes as a welcome relief when characters find love.
And it looks like fans of EastEnders look set to be surprised by a very unlikely pairing.
Or so some viewers believe.
They think that romance is about to blossom between Ben Mitchell and newcomer Keanu Taylor.

Well, this week, some viewers sensed a chemistry between the two fellas when Keanu called round to the garage to look for work.
At first, it didn’t look like they were going to get on when Ben asked him, “Are you the guy that nicked the bench? That was quality mate.”
Sheepishly shrugging off the comment, Keanu insisted that he’d “do anything… Washing, sweeping, polishing,” for money and added, “I know my way round a car.”
Ben joked: “You mean you know how to break into a car?”
But Keanu was deadly serious and maintained that he’d be perfect for a job at the garage, telling him, “I’ve done my apprenticeship, I just want work.”
Softening, Ben told him that he was fully staffed but asked him to leave his number and promised he’d be in touch.
The very fact that Keanu gave Ben his number – on a piece of paper we might add – has sent fans wild.
They now believe that this is the start of a new relationship for Ben.
One eager viewer Tweeted: “I get a gay vibes of Keanu in EastEnders so think Ben and Keanu could get together – it would be a good to see how Keanu’s family take it.”
Another fan said: “I hope Keanu becomes gay in EastEnders with Ben, reckon they will make a good couple.’
A third gushed: “Keanu and Ben I’m calling it.”
