We all know that Phillip Schofield is a rather dapper dresser.
But what we didn’t know – until now – is just what lurks beneath his fancy, well-cut suits.
Er, no, not that!
The actual secret was revealed by Phillip, 55, via Instagram, when he told fans he favours a “themed suit” and an unusual lining in some of his favourite two-pieces.

Case in point: he flaunted the lining of his latest ensemble via Instagram Stories, telling fans: “This is a very gorgeous suit but the most important thing is… look at my favourite animal on the inside! Look!”
While Phil’s suit was a perfectly sensible and smart navy on the outside, it was lined with a pink giraffe decoration.
Love it!
He added: “I like a themed suit – you’d never know unless I showed you this!”
Well, we’ll certainly be keeping a closer eye on his This Morning outfits now he know this little tidbit!
Phil’s pink giraffe-lined suit wasn’t for This Morning, however. It was actually for Dancing On Ice, which he began filming with BFF Holly Willoughby on Tuesday.
Though, er, we’re not quite sure what pink giraffes have to do with the Dancing On Ice theme…
Although the revamped series of Dancing On Ice doesn’t start until next year, already production has begun behind the scenes.
Phil and Holly have shared pictures to Instagram this week showing them hard at work on the ITV reboot alongside co-stars Torvill and Dean and Ashley Banjo.
One snap posted by Phil showed the colleagues standing against a green screen and was captioned: “Most of the gang – sooooo good to be talking ice again.”
Looking good, guys!
Missing from the group shot was fellow judge Jason Gardiner, who joins ice skating duo Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill, and Diversity frontman Ashley Banjo on the panel.
Fans were inevitably excited to see work on the new series starting in full swing and left a slew of comments on Phil’s Instagram page.
One impressed fan said: “Great to see that the originals are back, with some real young talent! Should make it a bit more funnier!! Ashley is so hot as well, so he better stay some distance from the ice!”
Another said: “So cannot wait for this show to return. Absolutely love it.”
A third wrote: “Yes absolutely fantastic so looking forward to seeing you all.”
And a fourth said: “Now that is what you call a dream team!! Can’t wait for the new series.”
The new-look Dancing On Ice returns to ITV in 2018, four years after being taken off air.
It originally ran from 2006 until 2014 with Holly and Phil hosting the first six series together, and Phil being joined by Christine Lampard for the latter three series.
The celebrity line-up for the new Dancing On Ice has been drip fed over the last couple of weeks and includes a slew of household names.
Coronation Street fans are in for a treat with TWO of the soap’s favourites signed up to take part: Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster) and Antony Cotton (Sean Tully).
