Stacey Solomon has revealed that, after suffering from traumatic night terrors as a child, she has let both of her children, including her 10-year-old son Zachary share her bed.
In a recent revealing column for Fabulous magazine, the mum-of-two shared that she has ‘no embarrassment’ and spoke of how boyfriend Joe Swash has been understanding of her set-up – admitting that their relationship may not have lasted if he hadn’t been.
“Before I met Joe, the boys were allowed to sleep with me, so I think it would have made them feel pushed out if I had stopped,” she explained.

“People ask how my relationship with Joe functions when the kids are in my bed – but it’s simple: if I want a child-free bed, I just pick them up when they’re asleep and put them in their own room.”
Stacey also admits she wants to enjoy every moment with her sons while they are still young, and isn’t in any rush for them to grow up!
“I adore having a night-time cuddle with my boys. Both of which I’m sure will eventually be embarrassed to stand next to me, let alone snuggle in my bed.”
Recently posting a message on Zachary’s birthday, Stacey, 28, admitted her eldest son will ‘always be my baby’.
She wrote, “I can’t believe I’ve been blessed with you for a whole decade. To me, you are and will always be my baby. But you’ve grown into the most kind, generous, selfless, funny and happy boy.
“I’m proud of you more and more every day.”
Stacey gave birth to Zachary, whose dad is ex-boyfriend Dean Cox, when she was 18, and the I’m A Celebrity star also has a six-year-old son, Leighton Barham, with ex Adam Barham.
Stacey’s now very much in love with ex-EastEnders star Joe Swash, who she has been dating since 2016, but has previously admitted that she’s unsure whether they will have any more children.
“I don’t know how many children I can have with different people. It’s complicated with our own children,” she admitted.
Joe also has a 10-year-old son, Harry, with ex-girlfriend, Emma Sophocleous.
Stacey has always been refreshingly honest about juggling a new relationship with raising children, too.
She recently revealed to her fellow Loose Women: “I feel like there’s so much pressure on couples with children to make sure they have time for their partner and have date nights and spend special time together.
“Sometimes I just do not have the time! I have a full-time job and outside of my full-time job I want to spend time with my children, and after that I’m exhausted!”

Despite their lack of date nights, Stacey and Joe seem to be better than ever, with her even dropping engagement ring hints. Joe is clearly a real gentleman – so watch this space!
